Elisabeth has an insatiable love for music. She favors classical pieces on a broad scale particularly choral and orchestral. She also enjoys many types of traditional and all emotional music. The popular style Elisabeth also treasures, but has no time for hard rock and heavy metal. Her great interest for the subject and her musical vocabulary together with her research abilities helps her to produce content that is refreshing and interesting.
Her statement about what she expects from music is "Music ought to touch me and preferably be harmonic with meaningful content"
Elisabeth is a mother of four and has close relationships with her grandchildren.
Roger Chapronière
Roger is a Brass Band fanatic and, from his early years when he played in one of London's Salvation Army Bands. To this day he has maintained a keen interest in this type of music. As he got older he found that his interest in Classical music deepened and his favourite Radio station, after CB Connect of course is Classic FM.
Roger is also CB Connect Radio's Station Manager which he says is a total labour of love. with particular emphasis on the word "labour"!!
Roger's comment on music is that there is room for all sorts - but the main consideration is that it needs to be performed both with sincerity and with excellence.
Elisabeth and Roger are husband and wife.
Carmen Chapronière
Carmen's main love is Mozart - We here at CB Connect think she would have married him if he was still around! She has a great interest in early Renaissance music and sings with the prestigious North Wales choir - Amici del Canto. Her knowledge and expertise in the classical genre is profound.
Carmen holds a degree in media studies with specific emphasis on graphic arts and web design.
She is responsible for production of programmes such as "Early Music" and "Mozart the Great"
Carmen's take on music is "oooh Mozart" and yes you've guessed it - she is the daughter of Elisabeth and Roger.
